Ms. Ann O. Tibe
Dr. Ann O. Tibe has amassed 23 years of teaching experience. She currently holds the position of Academic Unit Head of the Biology-Chemistry Unit at PSHS-CRC and chairs the Campus Greening and Environment Committee. Dr. Tibe's academic background is extensive, with a Doctor of Public Service, a Master of Arts in Educational Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Education majoring in Biology (cum laude). She is also pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management. As an alumnus of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Training Programme for Young Leaders, Dr. Tibe has refined her leadership skills as an educational leader. Her professional qualifications include being licensed by the PRC as a Professional Teacher and passing both the Career Executive Service Written Examination (CES-WE) and the Career Executive Service Assessment Center (CES-AC).
Dr. Tibe has been recognized for her outstanding contributions, receiving the DOST-Philippine Science High School System Most Outstanding Employee (Level II) award in 2024 and being entitled to various MANCOM honorary awards. She is an active member of professional organizations such as the Biology Teachers Association (BIOTA) and the Philippine Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PSBMB). Dr. Tibe has significantly contributed to academic research, co-authoring and copyrighting the Philippine Science High School System (PSHSS) Learning Guide in Biology and publishing research in international journals. She has presented her work at national and international conventions and conferences. Under her mentorship, students have achieved success in various regional, national, and international STEM competitions. Dr. Tibe has held key administrative roles in he previous employment, including Vice President for Academic Affairs, Department Head, and School Principal, further showcasing her leadership and dedication to education.
