Probability and Statistics
The next two units we will be focusing on are Probability and Statistics. These units tie into the 7th Grade and 8th Common Core Math Standards.
During the unit students will apply and extend previous understandings of simple probability, and calculations of central tendency, and variation.
More specifically, students will explore theoretical versus experimental probability, develop and analyze simulations for representing data, solve problems involving the probability of independent and dependent events, identify biased and unbiased samples used to analyze data, and analyze and describe differences in two or more populations of data.

HMH Into Math Help
Students can log into HMH and Click on "Discover". This will take them to the interactive copy of their textbook (there is an icon on their iPads that is a single sign-on link.)
Scrolling down there is a "Family Resources" option that has "Videos to help with the various lessons. "
There is also a "Student Resources" option that has a digital copy of their paper textbook.
