Currently working as an Associate Professor of Physics at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, India, Currently, I am running two government of India projects for developing lead-free halide perovskite nanoparticles for bioimaging application and development of rare-earth-doped nanoparticle assembly for development of the high-resolution microscope with Indo-Japanese collaboration [DST-SERB-ECRA and DST-JSPS joint project]. I have established a laboratory named “Nano-Crystal Design and Application Lab (n-DAL)” for the synthesizing facility, cell culture, and imaging facility. Now I am planning to extend my lab to detector and photovoltaic applications using perovskite nanostructure.

Earlier, I was awarded a JSPS postdoctoral fellowship by the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science [JSPS], the Japanese government (April 2014 and March 2016), during that period I worked at Shizuoka University Japan on the fabrication of luminescent nanocomposite for multi-modal bio-imaging applications.

I have done postdoctoral research at Laboratoire de Chimie de la Matière Condensée (LMCP, CNRS- UMR 7574), ENSCP, Paris, France on the synthesis of fluoride nanoparticles for biological applications (September 2012 to December 2013).

I have finished my Ph. D (2012) in single crystal growth and nanopowder synthesis of double tungstate laser materials at Crystal Growth Centre, Anna University, India.

My research encompasses the preparation of hybrid nanostructured materials for energy, environmental, and biomedical applications. My research findings during my doctoral studies and post-doc have been published in reputed international journals such as Dalton Transactions, RSC Advances, CrystEngComm, ChemPhyChem, and other materials science journals (65 Articles).
