Dr. M. Sathiyanathan received his Ph.D. degree from Anna University Chennai in 2021 and M.E. degree in Power Electronics and Drives from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 2012. He has 13 years of academic experience. Currently,  he is working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore.  He has published 8 international journals papers, and 8 technical papers in international and national conferences. He has also published 3 book chapters in the reputed international publishers. His research interests include Renewable Energy Systems, Design of Power Converters, Closed-Loop Controller Design, Power Electronic Application in Power System, Electric Drives and Embedded Systems. He is a reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE Transaction on Power Electronics, IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, and IEEE Access journals, Journal of Vibration and Control, Asian Journal of Control, and Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control under SAGE Publications, Electric Power Components and Systems, IETE Technical Review under Taylor & Francis.  He is a faculty coordinator for Youth Red Cross (YRC) Society of PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore.  He is a General Secretary of PSG iTech-Alumni Association.
