My Kindergarten Friends

Kids will be drawing pictures and writing at various levels. Some may be putting first sounds while others are starting to use sight words (like, can and is) in a sentence. Help your child sound out words, but do not tell them how to spell a word. In class, we draw a line for each sounds and encourage kids to work independently to write the sounds. Do not stress about this. We will be working toward helping kids one on one in small groups!
