Hi Everybody!

I am Tanya Cienfuegos-Baca and I am starting my 27 year of teaching! The best part is that I still love teaching as much as I did the first day! I was born and raised in Fort Collins. This is how old I am...when I was young, visiting my grandparents here in Wellington, as long as I was dialing another 568, I only had to dial the last four digits because EVERYONE's prefix in Wellington was 568.

I attended Irish, Lincoln Jr. High, and Poudre High School. I played competitive softball from Junior high to College. I also played the flute, tenor sax, and trombone. I attended Adams State College for my teaching degree. I then attended Regis University for my ESL endorsement and Walden University for my masters degree.

I am married to Ernest, who is the Executive Director with Jobs of Hope. We will have been married 27 years this January! We have two children, Michael, 29 and Cora, 21. Michael attended Eyestone and Cora attended Rice, and I taught one year at each, so I know first hand both schools are amazing! I have one cat, Butch who is 15 years old. We had to put down our Elizabeth, who was 15. I also have two dogs, Peanut and Angel - both are 4 years old. Since I don't have grandchildren...yet, I will be talking more about my furry creatures than my kids! You will quickly learn that they are spoiled rotten! LOL!

When I am not playing with my creatures, I love making crafts, fishing, camping, hunting, yard work, cooking, and finding new projects to do around the house.
