I am Mr. Jankow, your seventh grade language arts teacher. This year, you will be working on many engaging units to help you become a better reader and writer. I am excited to get to know you and teach you about the subject I love the most.
We will be using Google Classroom to complete assignments. I will update Google Classroom daily with assignments, due dates, and resources that we use for class.
Also, be aware that I work closely with all of the 8th grade language arts teachers. Due to this, you might see posts in classroom from Mrs. West. Treat those posts and assignments the same as you would as if it were posted by me. You are still responsible for it. She will not see your work or grade it; that will still be me.

Grades will be recorded in Synergy. To check your grade, please go to StudentVue (link at bottom of page).
Also, I will also sometimes email you though your school email. It would be a good idea to check your school email every day.
