Our Beginning Orchestra is the first step in your child's journey in music. Students are given the resources and instruction to develop their string technique. Students in the orchestra perform 2-3 times a year both on stage and in class. In addition to music literacy and string technique, students learn resilience, leadership, self-advocacy, and community.

To be prepared for the coming school year, please check out the following links for your instrument placement, accessories and other details regarding PSD Summer Music and how to rent your instrument.
Your student will need to get the correct size for their age/height. Please plan to get this done either at Boomer Music or with Mr. Mendizabal at TMHS on the following days:
