For our first art project you will create a fence that will display your name in graffiti letters along with one symbol that describes who you are as a person.
Project Goals:
Design the lettering of your name in a beautiful and readable font.
Learning Craft-person-ship, try your best to draw nicely and color things thoroughly.
Students will learn about the color wheel and watercolor techniques! After we learn about color schemes, the class will complete a watercolor color wheel and learn eight different watercolor techniques. Students will then learn about the three parts of a landscape - foreground, middle ground, and background.
For our second art project, students will be applying all the skills they gained from these activities to the creation of four watercolor polaroid paintings. Each polaroid will be a different color scheme and will need to include two watercolor techniques.
