The Art of Getting Along

In this unit we will learn to effectively manage a variety of social and academic interactions using foundational vocabulary and language structures. We will learn many common social courtesy phrases and ways to interact respectfully with others in informal and formal registers. We will also learn to ask questions for different purposes – such as making requests, extending invitations, asking for help – and how to respond appropriately.

The Art of Getting Along Unit helps equip students with the language needed to participate actively and productively in a positive school community.
