Imagine you’re creating a picture with stickers, crayons, and paper. Layers in graphic design are like having many clear sheets stacked on top of each other, and you can draw something different on each sheet.
Here’s how it works:
One sheet might have a background—like the sky.
Another sheet might have a sun.
Another sheet might have trees.
You can move things around on each sheet without messing up the other drawings. It helps keep everything neat and easy to change—just like magic paper!
Think of a word that represents your goal.
Choose a canvas size (16:9 or 9:16)
Find a background image to cover all white areas
Create a text layer with your word. Optionally, you may use extra text layers to elaborate on your word.
Add at least 5 images that represent this word and what it means to you. Use the tools to enhance the image even more! You may even use your camera to include pictures of yourself in friends, if it applies!
