Hello! My name is Kelsey Sullivan and I am so honored and excited to be at Tavelli Elementary! To top it off, I am THRILLED to be your third grade teacher. It is going to be an amazing year full of fun, learning, and new adventures and experiences. I cannot wait to see the classroom come together and see what is in store for this year. I want to know ALL about you, but I will begin by telling you a little bit about myself.

I was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. I decided I wanted to be a teacher at the age of 3 and that has been the goal since. I earned my undergrad degree at the University of Northern Colorado. I moved back to Grand Junction to be closer to family where I was hired on at a wonderful school called Scenic Elementary, and after 5 years teaching grades 1st-4th, I decided it was time to get my master’s degree which is what brought me to the front range.

I was asked to join the Tavelli family as a 3rd grade teacher and could not turn down the opportunity. I have been welcomed into a great team and wonderful staff. This will be my 4th year at Tavelli Elementary. I am confident that this year will be filled with many smiles and milestones and, of course, lots of learning.
