In the 3rd Module of our EL Education literacy curriculum, we read about Jackie Robinson. As part of this unit, we listened to a speech he recorded for the radio show "This I Believe" from the 1950s. For the radio show, Edward R. Murrow asked Americans from all walks of life to write essays about their core beliefs. The authors recorded their words for all to hear. We all wrote our own "This I Believe" essays and recorded them here to share with you. Students whose names are underlined chose to share their podcasts with you. If a name is not underlined, that student is either not yet finished or chose not to share their recording. If your child chose not to share their recording, you'll be able to read their essay in their data binder.Â
