Hello! My name is Jackie Vasquez, and I'm so excited to be your child's first grade teacher. This will be my thirteenth year at Tavelli. After graduating from Colorado State University, I started subbing throughout the building for two years. Once my daughter started kindergarten at Tavelli, I was hired as a para where I worked in different classrooms and in different grades levels for the next three years. I also worked in math and literacy intervention while I was a para. During this time I decided to go back to school to become a teacher. I earned my Master's Degree in Elementary Teaching in 2018. I taught second grade for four years, and this is my fourth year in first grade. We're going to have an amazing time together!
