Below are just a sampling of some places to start for additional resources. These are not endorsed by myself, Shepardson, or Poudre School District, but are options to explore. Health Info Source- www.healthinfosource.com This website helps you explore our local resources for health and mental health providers and support groups. You may search for providers that meet your specific needs.


IMatter - https://imattercolorado.org/. A temporary behavioral health program designed in response to some of the many mental and emotional challenges that have come from the Covid-19 pandemic. At this website, you can complete a quick form for your child and his/her needs, and then be qualified for up to three free appointments with a licensed clinician in the state of Colorado.


Larimer Center for Mental Health- www.larimercenter.org, 970-494-9761 Provides mental health services to children, adults, and families. Accepts Medicaid and CHP+.


Larimer County Department of Human Services- www.larimer.org/dhs, 970-498-6300 Serves low-income families and helps connect them with benefits and resources.


Colorado Center for Life Changes- www.coloradocenterforlifechanges.com. Offers support and information for families experiencing divorce.


Voices Carry Child Advocacy Center- www.voicescarrycac.org 970.407.9739 . Supports and provides services to victims of child abuse and their non-offending family members in safe, compassionate, and respectful environment.


Crossroads Safehouse- www.crossroadssafehouse.org, 970-482-3502. Crossroads offers free safehousing, advocacy, legal assistance, transitional housing, and education for adult, teen, and children victims of domestic violence.


Pathways Hopsice- www.pathways-care.og, 970-663-3500. Provides medical and comfort care for individuals navigating the last months of life and support for families, caregivers and those mourning the loss of a loved one.


The Parent-Child Interaction Center- http://parentchildinteractioncenter.org, 970-472-1207. Provides general services for people of all ages on issues including parenting, adoption, childhood disruptive disorders, custody and divorce, and marriage/family.
