Medical Terminology is a one quarter course which gives students in-depth instruction in recognizing and forming medical terms related to the body's organ systems. Students will learn medical root words, prefixes, and suffixes and apply them to the body systems, as well as understand different diseases, conditions, diagnostic, and treatment procedures for each system.
