Students in grades 11-12 during the 2025-2026 academic year  with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above are eligible to apply for  membership. Juniors need to have completed at least 140 credits while seniors need to have completed 160 credits.

The NHS application opens  September 2nd and will close on September 29th at 11:59pm. Students MUST be logged in using their PSD email to access the application.

If your application is successfully submitted, you will automatically receive a copy of your responses. If you do not receive a copy of your responses immediately after submission, we have not received your application and we'll be unable to consider this year.

The application requires TWO letters of recommendation submitted via this Google Form and are due by October 2nd at 11:59pm. Applications without TWO Google Form letters of recommendation will be considered incomplete and therefore will not be considered. 

The application will consider the applicant’s commitment to the four NHS pillars: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.

Once the selection process is complete, invited members will be notified and requested to attend the Induction ceremony to take place November 10th.
