Google Chrome, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams

Troubleshooting Tips for Teams:

  • Specials links on your teacher’s learning page have been updated. This means when students click on them, it takes them DIRECTLY to the meeting.

  • Keep reminding your child: If a teacher isn’t in the meeting – click the red “leave” button and find the Join button in the calendar.

  • Students should never click “Meet”

  • As a habit, students need to restart computers once a week.

  • Clever

    • Students SHOULD log in to Clever and log into Teams in Clever. If not logged into Teams through Clever, students that have Chrome Books will go straight to the browser and then appear as a guest and will need to type their name in.

  • When given the choice to open Teams in the browser or in the app, students should always pick “Open up Microsoft Teams.”

  • First step to follow if you’re having issues: sign out of Teams and log back in or restart your computer

  • If you get the message: Can’t find channel because of connectivity issues, retry later. **This is an internet issue, we’ve experienced this at school too.
