Spring Migration has begun!!

7 Reasons to Bird Watch with Your Kids

  1. Birding is an easy way to add more nature to your life.
  2. The whole family (even young children) can participate.
  3. It can be done any time.
  4. It can be done anywhere. Birds live everywhere!
  5. You don’t even have to leave your house.
  6. Supplies are inexpensive.
  7. Learning from real, live nature is more exciting (and long-lasting) than studying from a book.

April is here in all its sunny glory!

We will learn about water in our final science unit The Work of Water. There are 7 lessons so this will take at least 3 weeks to complete as each lesson usually takes 2 days.

We will read Miss Rumphius to celebrate Earth day and think about the mission of Miss Rumphius...to make the world more beautiful!

Ft Collins history will be on display in the front cabinet this month. Mrs. Feigle's class will create Auntie Stone's cabins, we will add our Camp Collins maps and Ms. Bishops class has written letters to Col. William Collins.

Our final lesson with Abby and Hector from CSU will be on April 7. This has been a wonderful way to extend our math unit, Shapes and their Attributes. Our next math unit will be Graphs and Data
