Computer Science Explorations

Welcome to Computer Science Explorations. After teaching math for over twenty years, I am teaching this class for the first time, and will be learning alongside students. I am excited to bring back computer science education to Preston. We will work on some web design, some block programming as well as line coding, debugging programs, and some animation.

Course materials will be on Google Classroom (link below). The class will be project-based, with the primary goal of having students continue to have interest in computer science for high school and beyond. I have also given links to a couple of fun projects that we did in the first semester - students created their own digital version of a Choose Your Own Adventure story, and students created their own webpages.
