Concert Band

The Poudre Concert Band is made up of all incoming 9th grade brass and woodwind players. We play 5 concerts each year, and participate in 2 festivals (the Poudre Spring Concert Festival and the Elitch's Music Festival). We perform a wide variety of concert literature, designed to continue developing each student's musicality and technique. Each student will work with a local professional musician in sectional rehearsals roughly twice each month. These music coaches are also available for private instruction.

The Concert Band, along with Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble, make up the Poudre Pep Band that plays at home athletic events, pep assemblies and many other activities.
