Hello. My name is Mark Blumstein, and I am excited to be part of the team at PGA. Mathematics is my passion. It is a subject about creativity, intuition, collaboration, and working hard. People don't always get that impression from school math (except maybe the last thing).

I love working with students to help guide them on their own process of discovery and learning. I started teaching at PGA in Fall 2021. Before that I worked for a company developing algorithms for artificial intelligence software. Before that I was in academia - I did a PhD in pure (theoretical) mathematics at CSU. Students often ask, "what is the point of math?" and "when will I ever use this?". Take my class and let's talk about it, I bet we will have a lot of fun along the way.
