Biographical Sketch:
I was born in New Mexico, but I was raided on the Western Slope in Montrose Colorado. I grew up loving music, spending time with my Wildlife Biologist Parents, and exploring the great outdoors. After graduating high school, I moved to Fort Collins to continue my learning career.
Educational Background:
I recently received my music education degree from Colorado State University where I had opportunities to work with students of all ages and play the saxophone in many different ensembles such as Jazz Band and Wind Symphony. I earned a certificate in teaching Eurhythmics through the American Eurhythmics Society (AES) in 2018. I have also presented on Eurhythmics and using movement to teach music at the Colorado Music Education Association Conference in Colorado Springs, and at Colorado State University (CSU).

Why I love Teaching:
I love teaching because it allows me the opportunity to inspire students through music, but also gives me the gift of learning through creative young minds in my school. I want to help students realize their full potential through the amazing world of music.
