ABOUT the Northern Colorado Honor Band
The Northern Colorado Honor Band began as a collaboration between the Band Programs of the Poudre School District and the Thompson School District high schools. Since 2014, the band has expanded to include Windsor High School, Liberty Common and most recently, Resurrection Christian. Students are selected through an audition, and participate in an evening of sectional rehearsals, as well as a weekend honor band rehearsal with our guest conductors, culminating in a concert performance. Since its inception, the Northern Colorado Honor Band has strived to feature some of the finest musicians/conductors/educators in our profession and has quickly become a premiere Colorado honor band event.
