Drum O'Clock Day 9

Join K. Michelle in a drum circle drumming to the topic
"Sports and Recreation"

K. Michelle is Ms. Sparks’ friend in Kentucky who is also an elementary music teacher. This video learning series was inspired by her students at Bloom Elementary School in Louisville, KY. They wanted a space to keep learning while out of school. She immediately thought a drum circle would be accessible for everyone regardless of what instruments they have.

Find sounds around the house, in nature, or on your body to follow along with the video. Use elements of mindfulness to learn to focus your attention in the moment on the rhythms that are improvised on the spot through audience engagement from her live viewers, previously recorded.

Learn to listen to how each part fits and then communicate that with your instruments. If you want to engage live follow K. Michelle Lewis at 11:11am EST or 9:11 MST (Colorado) every day on her YouTube channel.

Did I mention she loves sloths?
