Dear Second Grade Students and Families,

Welcome to Mrs. English’s Classroom! I am so excited to begin a wonderful new school year with you!

Second grade is going to be a year filled with learning, growing, exploring, laughing, and making new memories. We will read amazing books, discover new ideas, solve challenging problems, create exciting projects, and learn something new every day.

In our classroom, we will work together to make sure everyone feels safe, welcome, respected, and ready to learn. I believe that every student has special talents and something important to contribute. We will celebrate our successes, learn from our mistakes, and encourage one another along the way.

I hope to see you at our Supply Drop-Off Day on Monday, August 17th, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. Please stop by during this time to drop off your school supplies and say hello!

I cannot wait to get to know each of you and see all the wonderful things you will accomplish this year. Get ready for an exciting adventure in Mrs. English’s Second Grade Class!
