Dash and Dot Robots

Directions for using Dash Robots:

Head to Mrs. Berry's Learning Page. Hover over "Digital Makerspace," then click on "Dash and Dot Robots." 

Visit Blockly (<- click on link).

Select "student," then "Use Blocky Offline." Turn on your robot. Click on the + button to pair the correct robot (name is on bottom). Turn on bluetooth if needed under your computer settings. Then, select "Puzzle," OR "Projects," "Create New." You may also check out some of the premade projects. Do not try "Hot Potato." Some projects may require accessories that we don't have at this time. 

Learning Target:  I can problem-solve coding puzzles OR create my own code to make my robot perform a desired outcome

Robot Use Expectations:

• Be very gentle with your robot

• Carry with both hands

• Use on floor, in your own space

• Do not let motor run without coding command or it could burn out

• Do not change the name

• Appropriate use at all times

Failure to follow expectations could lead to loss of use for the rest of the year.
