Welcome 5th grade students to a new school year at Lopez! I’m excited to be your 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher this year. I'm looking forward to meeting each and every one of you. I bet you have many life experiences and stories to share with me. It will be great to share some of those stories, as well as mine, within the learning. I know that you are going to find that this year will be filled with new learning, new discoveries, and lots of adventures!

My classroom is full of exciting learning and it will be an encouraging place that will help you to learn, grow and become Middle School ready. I prefer teaching in person and I know this is the best way to get to know you. I am excited and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us!
