In the art classroom, students spend have their time pursuing their own personal artistic visions and experiments and the other half of art class time following teacher demonstrated drawing, painting, and ceramic techniques. Though students are expected to follow the teacher’s technical artmaking instructions, they have the freedom to change all artworks after completion of demonstrations, to best fit their unique visions.  Students also have discussions relating all art made and presented master samples to the Colorado State Standards of arts.
