Hello families! My name is Gloria Carlson. I am certified by the National Board and this is my 26th year teaching. I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the US as part of an international teaching exchange program 22 years ago. I have been a teacher in PSD for the last 16 years. I am an ELD teacher and a Literacy Interventionist. I am certified by the Orton-Gillingham (OG) Academy and love helping students during our "Boost" (Literacy Intervention) time. I am very fortunate to combine two things I love the most; helping students that need additional literacy instruction and helping Emergent Bilingual students learn English.
