Welcome to Mr. Heersche's math class! Born and raised in Kansas, I graduated from Kansas State University in 2008 earning a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, Mathematics, and again in 2012 with a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I come to Lesher Middle School with 13 years of teaching experience, all from the Wabaunsee, KS school district. My first six years I taught 7th & 8th grade math, and for the past seven years I have been teaching K-4 physical education. I am licensed to teach math grades 6-12 and physical education grades K-12. I moved to Colorado on August 7, 2021 in a tiny house that I built and could not be happier living in Fort Collins!
