Registration

Registration:

6th grade school counselor, Ashley Broody, and 6th grade assistant principal, Janice Martinez, will visit feeder elementary schools to discuss the following:

• 6^th grade houses (Zippleback, Gronckle, Night Fury, Stormcutter).

• Core courses (Math, Science, English, Social Studies) and Encore courses (World Language, Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Physical Education, Technology).

• 6^th graders have two choices to make:

  1. World language: French, German, Spanish, or Spanish Literacy.

  2. Visual/Performing Arts: Band, Orchestra, or a combination of Choir and Art (one semester of each)

• 6^th grade sports (fall: cross country; spring: golf, track and field) and club activities (Science Olympiad, Chess Club, Esports, etc.).

• Instructions on how to submit course requests online, through StudentVUE, for 6^th grade Encore classes.

Student course requests will need to be submitted through StudentVUE by: Date TBD

February 1, 2022:

• Laurel Elementary (9:30am)

February 2, 2022:

• Timnath Elementary (1:00pm)

February 3, 2022:

• Harris Elementary (9:00am)

• Riffenburgh Elementary (11:30am)

• Shepardson Elementary (2:00pm)

February 4, 2022:

• Dunn Elementary (9:45am)
