TEACHER MESSAGE
Welcome to Computer Education!
I am so excited to serve as your computer education teacher. Essential Pillars for Success are self-discipline and organizational skills. Both characteristics will impact your academic goals. Self-discipline is defined as the ability to control and motivate yourself, stay on track, and abiding by your commitments for attendance, discussions, assignments and exams. Organizational skills are extremely important to your success which includes collaboration and teamwork, planning, prioritizing, and time management. It is my goal to create a growing and learning environments for all students. In order to make this a successful school year from the very beginning, it is important that we are all aware of the policies and procedures for a successful school year.
Classroom Structure Our class rules are very simple.
You should conduct yourself in a respectful manner while in the lab.
No food or drinks are allowed in the computer lab.
The desktop picture, screensavers and other settings on your computer should be left alone.
Keep the lab clean. Put things back when you are finished with them, including keyboards, mouse, and chairs. Leave the computer as you would want to find it.
Only use the Internet as instructed.
Always use your computer class time wisely. Getting assignments/projects done on time will greatly impact your grade!
