Feel like building something personal using digital art? Try using tools like Word Art, Weave Silk, AutoDraw, or Sketchpad! Be creative and have fun!
Coding
Build a game,or project using Scratch, Code.org, or Minecraft EDU. So much can be done when you learn to master the art and science of coding! Start learning about it now!

Use the online tools to create a 3D design of your choice. Some designs can be printed, but Media Class printing has priority over individual student printing projects.
Design a slideshow with pictures and text. Show off your favorite hobby, make a slide deck about a movie or TV show you like, or keep track of all books you've read throughout the year! The possbilities are endless!

All students at Laurel have a Minecraft EDU account. However, the game does not run well on Chromebooks. While at school, students should only be creating in CREATIVE MODE (no survival mode!)

BeeBots
Borrow the BeeBots from the Media Center and practice your coding skills. Build a maze and see if you can program your BeeBot to make it through without crashing into anything! BeeBot mats are also available to check out.
