I'm excited to have you in High School English Prep (P4). This class is designed to help students build the skills and confidence they need for success in English 8 and beyond. Our class will combine pre-teaching and reteaching of 8th grade English content along with targeted support in reading, writing, grammar, and essential executive functioning life skills. Students will learn how to recognize their strengths and areas where they might need help. Our classroom will be an engaging and supportive place where students can learn, grow, and prepare to enter high school English feeling confident. Students will have minimal homework for this class - most nights it will be an extension of their English class. Homework will always be written in the student's planner and will be on the daily slides.
