Mrs. Houston's Sketchbook Prompts

Mrs. Houston's art classes always begin with 5-10 minutes of dedicated sketchbook time. (Unless the rare full-project-workday is needed.)

• Loose paper is always provided in class for students without a sketchbook.

• Students are given these 3 options for sketchbook time (this is emphasized every class period): 

1. Draw the prompt on the slide of the day.

2. Continue to draw/shade/color a previous sketchbook prompt.

3. Free draw in your sketchbook!

• Sketchbook checks are every 2 weeks.
