Hello everyone,
Thank you all for your patience and understanding while I, and Ms. Erin, were out sick this week. And a HUGE thank you to Ms. Kat for stepping in to keep our routines on track! Your children were very flexible in the changes to routines and in working with the substitute teachers. 🙂
We have just two weeks left in our Exercise unit! We'll wrap up by talking about people who have jobs where they exercise (soccer coaches, swim instructors, firefighters, etc.) as well as safety equipment people use while exercising, such as bike helmets or special shoes.
If your child will be attending Kindergarten next year, please be sure to register as soon as possible. Schools are beginning to prepare plans for staffing for next year and it's very helpful to know how many Kinders plan to attend.
We will be celebrating Friendship Day (Valentine's Day) on Thursday, February 12. Children are invited to bring cards for their friends to distribute in class. Preschoolers are encouraged to "sign" their own name on the cards, but there's no need to write the names of their classmates. We have a total of 15 students in our class.
Please stay warm and safe this weekend!
February 16: NO SCHOOL - Staff Workday
February 12: Friendship Party (Details to come)
February 26 - March 5: Book Fair

Hello, my name is Kendra Bowman. I'm so grateful to be your child's teacher this year! The Fort Collins area has been my home for almost 30 years. I'm mom to four wonderful, young adults all of whom attend or attended schools in Poudre School District. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, our family and friends - preferably outside.
Our Full Day schedule is 7:30am - 2:23pm.
In the case of remote sessions, Teams meetings links will be posted here and emailed to families.
To report an absence, please call the Early Childhood office at 970-490-3336.
