Hello everyone,

Hopefully you all had a restful, rainy weekend. I’m happy to see the sun shining again for a few days. Our insect study this week will focus on bees. We have a beekeeper (Kat’s sister in law) coming on Wednesday to tell our class all about bees.  We will conclude our study at the end of next week, May 9th, and then have a short unit on “Gardens” which will take us to the end of the year.

I was not provided a link for ordering the class picture taken last week. The picture will be in the yearbook, but if you need or want a print, please let me know.

Important upcoming dates:

May 1 - Fire Drill at 10:00am

May 8 - Bike to School Day

May 21 - Kinder Open House

May 30 - Last Day of School (Half-Day), more details to come!

We’re off to a great week!

Teacher Message

Hello, my name is Kendra Bowman. I'm so grateful to be your child's teacher this year! The Fort Collins area has been my home for almost 30 years. I'm mom to four wonderful, young adults all of whom attend or attended schools in Poudre School District. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, our family and friends - preferably outside.

Our Full Day schedule is 7:40am - 2:25pm.
