Hey Mustangs!
You can call me Mrs. Jordan, Mrs. J or Miss J! This will be my 7th year teaching middle school Physical Education and Health and my 5th year working at Kinard. I am a proud Colorado native and moved to Fort Collins in 2010. I spent five years at Colorado State University playing club women's ice hockey and earning my Bachelor's degree before attending the University of Northern Colorado to get my Master's degree and PE teaching license. To say the least, it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do.
My husband, Tyler, and I met working at the CSU Youth Sports Camps during our early years in Fort Collins. Tyler is now an EMT with UC Health and pursuing a career in firefighting. I have two kids: my son named Cooper who was born in October of 2022 and my daughter named Blake who was born in April of 2025. We also have a rambunctious, blockheaded fur baby named Dexter who is 5 years old.
I enjoy being active by playing ice hockey, road biking, walking, strength training, fishing, golfing and trying new ways to get my body moving. Teaching kids new ways of living a health and active lifestyle is what drives me to be a teacher every single day!
