Showing up on time everyday is important to your child's success in preschool!

• Please remember to always call the EC Attendance Line 970-490-3336 every time your child will be absent from school.  Please keep your child home if they have cold symptoms and stay home for 24 hours if put on antibiotics, or after the resolution of vomiting, diarrhea, or a fever.

• If your student will have an extended absence, more than 5 school days, please call Sharon Weaver 970-490-3036 or email sharonw@psdschools.org for pre-approval.

• Any absence longer than 10 days risks disenrollment from the program.

• Different funding sources have different attendance requirements, please call Fullana  970-490-3204 with any attendance questions.

School Closures, Delayed Start and Early Release Procedures and Notifications

• School Closures: Families are notified about weather-related school closures by text and email and posted on the PSD Early Childhood Facebook page and Instagram.

• Delayed Start: Full-day Early Childhood programs start two hours later than normal and release on time.

• Early Release: Families are notified about early releases by text and email. Information is also posted on the PSD Early Childhood Facebook page and Instagram.
