Julie Woolner has been serving students with special needs since 1997 in Poudre School District. She began her career as a Moderate Cognitive Needs teacher at the elementary level and, throughout the next sixteen years, progressed to become a Multicategorical teacher. For eight years she was a member of the Integrated Services Leadership Team as a Literacy Coach, which ignited her passion for the foundational skills of reading and students with dyslexia. For the past two years, Julie has been advocating for students with disabilities on the Professional Learning Team as well as continuing to offer professional development opportunities to staff throughout the district.
