FRH Miranda Mitchell's Learning Page


Hello, thank you for visiting Ms. Mitchell's learning page. I am entering my 24th year of teaching, yet some days I still feel like a first-year teacher as the world around us has changed so dramatically over the last few years.  As a parent of two children, my youngest is graduating this year, I know how difficult being a student and a parent at the highschool level can be. I also know that together we can all make it through successfully. I am so excited to be on this journey with you all and look forward to the year ahead of us. 

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at any time with questions or concerns (praise if you'd like), it seems like I don't have as many answers as I use to but know that I will find them for you. 

Google Classroom will be the home base for all things this year.  All weekly agendas and assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. I have attached the links below to direct you to the correct classroom.  

As I stated above this is my 24th year of teaching. 18 of them were in middle school and the last five were here at Fossil. I am happy to call this home. I have two children, a 24-year-old son (who got married over the summer) and a 17-year-old daughter who is a Senior here at Fossil this year. I also have 2 of the most amazing Shih-Tzus, Posie and Pace. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing puzzles, and watching all things true crime.
