This class is a concurrent enrollment class through Front Range Community College. It will contain the following objectives:

• Functions and their Graphs

• Quadratic Functions

• Polynomial and Rational Functions

• Exponential and Log Functions

• Applications of Logarithms

• Systems of Matrices

Graphing Calculator

You must have one! I use a TI-84 Plus and model the use of it with the class. If you are able to purchase one, I would recommend a TI-83 or higher.

• If you can buy one, I would encourage you to do so. You will use it in all future math classes as well as on standardized tests. You can buy a new one ($90ish) or a used one for less.

• You can also download a graphing calculator on your school computer. It is more difficult to use than a physical one that you can actually hold, but it's free.
