 How do we know something is living?

  • Living things have needs to live and grow.

  • Plants (trees) need water and light to live and grow. 

Monday:  l explain whether something is living or nonliving using information from observations, ask and answer questions about my observations

​​​​​ Tuesday: seek out examples and patterns in the world around me to research living and nonliving things, record my observations with words and drawings like a researcher

Wednesday:  read a text to research what makes something living, record information from my research about what makes something living
