Central Idea: Observing and interpreting data about how earth has changed over time leads to many explanations including myths, legends, and scientific inquiries

Lines of Inquiry:
· How myths and science are both used to explain how Earth’s physical features are formed and change over time.
· How predictable patterns of earth’s physical features are observed by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data
· How the four major earth systems (land, water, living things, air) interact
· Characteristics of myths: a narrative story that explains natural phenomena
