Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos!
This is my second year teaching, at PCA. I've been in PSD since 1998 teaching at Boltz, counseling at Lincoln and finding my home, finally at Poudre Community Academy. I'm so excited that I get to share my passion for Spanish and all things Crafty!
I grew up in Sonoma County, CA, studied Art and Bilingual Education at San Diego State University (y a la Universidad Iberoamericana el DF de Mexico) and moved to Colorado in 1996. I earned a Masters of Education in Counseling and completed the Administrative Licensure at CSU, but am grateful to be back in the classroom.
Fort Collins is where I found my partner for life, Glenn, and where we've raised our children, Brayden and Island. Since pre-COVID times, we've become avid disc golfers. You'll find me on a course, if I'm not at work!
Our PCA students are truly the best humans I've worked with in all of my years! I'm grateful to be of service to the Warrior Community!
And, If you ever go through your own crafting stash and find things you'd like to donate to our cause, please get in touch! We'd love to make art!
Got Craft Supplies You Don’t Use? We're collecting unused or gently used craft materials for Crafts Class. Instead of letting them gather dust--or worse, tossing them-- dontate them to PCA and we'll put them to good use. We gladly accept: fabric, acrylic or water paints, scrapbook paper, beads & jewelry tools, macrame yarn, etc. If it's just taking up space, we'll take it off your hands and turn it into something meaningful.

Thanks for helping us create something great from what you no longer need!
