Classroom Norms are found on Google Classroom
Google Classroom: To get to Google Classroom, click on Short Fiction (2nd Period) or Short Fiction (4th Period).
You can access assignments, materials, and projects will through Google Classroom- Classwork.
Agendas are posted daily on Google Classroom- Stream.
Assignments feed into the week-long tasks which are due before the end of class on Friday. Points vary depending upon the assignment. Additionally, check-in quizzes will be every Friday. This is a way for students to check in with their progress and understanding of the material.
Microsoft Teams: Only used when we have exceeded the amount of days off due to inclement weather. Upon receiving an invite to the daily class meetings through SCHOOL email, ACCEPT the class invitation.
Open Teams by clicking on Teams or use the Calendar to find our scheduled meeting time.
1) Double-click your class on the calendar and select Join in top right corner.
2) Make sure your camera and microphone are turned on, then select Join Now.
3) Wait for class to begin.
The expectation is to treat everyone with DIGNITY and RESPECT. Unless you are speaking, please keep your microphone on mute. As with class, your cellphone must be put away. (Please view the Norms for additional information). IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING IN YOUR BACKGROUND THAT IS NOT SCHOOL APPROPRIATE, you have two options: (1) move your camera so that the the object in question is not seen or (2) blur your background.
