Steps for Outlining Texts for Science - Follow the steps below when you are assigned an outline in class. You will need to use Kami to mark up the text assigned and then use the second attachment below to put your notes together. Use the checklist on the last page of the notes tool to keep track of all the information you are to provide for an outline in Science class. For any Writing assignments you have for Science (Learning Targets, Conclusions of labs and design projects, etc.) use the Sentence frames included below to help you along or use the vocabulary suggestions to help you up your level of academic language used. NOTE: there are different sentence starters/vocab. for different kinds of writing - For Conclusion writing use the "Proposition and Support" sentence starters/vocab. for Learning Targets, follow the learning target prompt which will highlight which sentence starters/vocab. to use.
