Mrs. McMurray

My Name is Krystal McMurray, this 2021-2022 school year is my 7th year working at Blevins Middle School. I spent years volunteering in schools and chose to stay at the middle school level because I enjoy working with students as they figure out who they are and what their passions are.

I love music, art, adventure, traveling, animals, and my family. My own child was a Blevins Bruin and recently graduated from Rocky Mountain High School. My goal working in education is to help students discover and learn to navigate the ever-changing world we live in.

I look forward to meeting and working with you as students and with parents to best support the needs of your child and your family during your middle school journey. Here's to an amazing 2021-22 school year!

Mrs. Rezendes

I am originally from Indiana and moved to Colorado in 2009. As the school social worker, I work with students and interdisciplinary teams to find their strengths, achieve their social-emotional goals, connect families to resources, partner with community agencies, and advocate for policy changes.

My partner and I have 3 fur-babies- 2 cats and a dog! My passions outside of social work include hiking, paddleboarding, running, reading, watching football (Go Colts!), live music, and gardening/tending to my plants.

Mrs. Thomason

I am the School Psychologist at Blevins Middle School. This will be my 8th year at Blevins, and I have truly come to love working with middle schoolers! I graduated from UNC Greeley and have worked in PSD since. I am looking forward to this school year and working with students to discover their passions, to achieve personal goals, and to gain skills to navigate this ever-changing world.

While not born, I was raised in Fort Collins. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, my pets, and in the outdoors. This summer we welcomed baby number three into our family and it has been a wild, yet beautiful ride.

Kaili Young BCBA, MA

I am no doubt, the senior member of this team, (but that just means I’ve had time to accumulate more experience!). This will begin my 30th year with PSD, and my 41st year teaching and supporting students. I currently work as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, support the Center-Based Programs for students with SED. As an SED teacher for over 20 years, my heart and expertise live with this group of students! I support 10-12 different programs at 10-12 different schools, so I get around! Working with teachers, families and students to change challenging behavior is my primary duty and I love it! When I’m not working, I can be found: Cycling, paddle-boarding, playing tennis, kickboxing, hiking and dog-wrangling! Looking forward to a fantastic school year!
