Glue Drawing

Here is a picture I created using glue, black construction paper, and chalk. When the glue dries, it leaves a clear, bumpy outline around the shapes that you draw.

Found Object Sculpture

Week 1

March 23 - March 27

Step 1

Collect found objects.

Examples of found objects: cardboard, string, popsicle sticks, rubber bands, old yogurt containers and lids (make sure you wash it out first!), bottle lids, buttons, paper towel rolls, Q-tips, pipe cleaners, etc.

Step 2

Make a plan.

Make a sketch of your idea. Practice attachments and connections.

Ideas for attaching materials: glue objects together, tie with strings or pipe cleaners, staple, tape

Step 3

Create!

Create your artwork. Ask an adult for help poking holes and cutting hard materials like cardboard and plastic.

Optional: Paint or color it.

Step 4

Take a photo and show me what you made!

or post it to FlipGrid.
