I grew up in Fort Collins, CO and am PSD proud! I attended O'Dea Elementary, Boltz Junior High, and Fort Collins High School. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a emphasis in Language Arts from the University of Northern Colorado and my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Adams State University. I taught 2nd grade for 6 years at Bethke and 1 year in 3rd grade. I have taught reading intervention at Bethke for one fantastic year and I am looking forward to continuing to influence and empower young readers. I am so happy to work at this wonderful school, and with the amazing families of our students.
When I am not at school, I really enjoy spending time with my family. My little family includes myself, my husband, and our dog Koda! Whether we are visiting our cabin in Estes Park, going on hikes, or just watching a funny movie, we are always having fun together! I also absolutely love to read. I read anything from picture books to mysteries. Cooking is also one of my passions because I love trying and experimenting with different ingredients. I also enjoy finding various projects around my house to complete.
I am so excited for this year and I can't wait to get to know all of you and watch your children grow each day!
